Circuit Protection and Power Distribution

Supporting Team Swinburne

Prolec is proud to be an on-going sponsor of Team Swinburne in the Formula SAE race car project. This year we were able to work with the team to identify key areas of their power distribution and circuit protection that could be improved using our range of state of the art electronic, automotive and electrical products. We supplied the surface mount fuses for their printed circuit boards, automotive blade fuses, circuit breakers, relays and high voltage DC fuses straight from stock. These are just some of the products featured in our new catalogue.

What is the Formula SAE Competition?

Conceived in the USA in 1981, the Formula SAE Competition offers engineering students the opportunity to design and build a formula race car, which may be entered into an international competition held over a four-day period in December each year. This competition includes static and dynamic events, testing both student knowledge and car capability. The competition includes entrants from the best engineering universities around the world.
